So what’s all this about the discovery of a tomb which allegedly holds the physical remains of Jesus and His earthly family?
James Cameron recently released a documentary (aired on the Discovery Channel) that claims the tomb holds the dead bodies of Jesus, his mother, his wife Mary Magdalene, His earthly son, and other family members.
Read the Wikipedia article for the whole ‘controversy’, especially the Criticism subsection. Frankly, these discoveries, ‘proving’ Jesus didn’t die on the cross / wasn’t resurrected / didn’t even exist, don’t seem much of a big deal when completely non-agreeing claims appear every few years.
The most telling thing about James Cameron’s blurb is that he doesn’t mention the body of ‘Jesus’ having any damage marks… Such as from crucifixion. If such marks ahd been present on the body, wouldn’t he have publicized them as the clearest evidence that the body is in fact that of Jesus Christ?
