I just upgraded my blog by subscribing to 1 gigabyte of storage space.
It costs 20 credits (USD 1 per credit) and will last 1 year before it needs to be renewed. Many thanks to my loving dad who loaned me his Visa card to make the payment.
I made the decision as before the upgrade, I had used up 98% of the 50mb allowed for my non-upgraded blog. I already had a backup plan ready – I signed up www.scottthong2.wordpress.com, scottthong3, scottthong4, all the way to scottthong9!
Instead of all that complexity, now I have this:
At the last minute, I decided that I prefer to keep everything together… For the convenience of browsing as well as keeping the hits total high. And it saves me the chore of setting all the same sidebar widjets, Categories, Blogroll etc.
Ahh… The gentle comfort of ample upload space. Back to blogging with tons of images, it is!
