Even Chinese in South Africa Considered ‘African Bumiputera’

June 20, 08

African Bumiputra

Above from Malaysian Politics Motivational Posters

BLARDY!!!!!!!!

Sorry, excuse my cursing, but…

The Chinese community in South Africa has only been established for 104 years (since 1904), compared to the Chinese in Malaysia who have been established for 600 years (since the 1400s, at the invitation of the Sultan of Malacca himself).

And yet the South African Chinese are already accepted as equal citizens with full indigenous rights, while we are still not bumiputera even if 20 generations of our ancestors were born here!!!

Chinese classified as black, court says

A COURT has issued a landmark ruling classifying Chinese South Africans as black, making them eligible for benefits for those discriminated against under the former apartheid regime.

The ruling from the Pretoria high court came after the Chinese Association of South Africa (CASA) challenged their exclusion from laws aimed at redressing economic imbalances under white-minority rule, which ended in 1994.

CASA argued that Chinese citizens continue to be marginalised under the country’s black economic empowerment and affirmative action legislation.  [Scott: Known as Dasar Ekonomi Baru over here]

Both laws benefit the country’s black, Indian and mixed-race communities.

“As Chinese South African we were officially classified as coloured during the apartheid era and suffered under the same discriminatory laws prior to 1994,” CASA chairman Patrick Chong said.

“The logical inference was thus Chinese South Africans would automatically qualify for the same benefits afforded to the coloured group, post 1994.”

The organisation has pressed government on the matter since 2000 in order to seek clarity on their racial classification.

Yeah Badawi, your bridge of racial and religious tolerance very kukuh oh!

PS. From this day forward, any Chinese who discriminates against Africans just because of their skin colour is a race traitor.

PPS. Kudos to Dr. Hsu for linkage.

Jewish Ghettos and the Holocaust: An Argument for the Second Ammendment

June 20, 08

At the risk of fulfilling Godwin’s Law, those who oppose gun rights are like Nazis: They want it us to be unarmed in order to make it easier for the State to eventually control every aspect of our lives.

I was watching the excellent film Schindler’s List, as the Nazis rounded up 15,000 Jews into the tiny Kraków Ghetto.

The Jews were not allowed to own businesses. They were not allowed to earn wages. They were not allowed to leave the ghetto. If they were not deemed essential to help the Nazi war effort (such as teachers and rabbis), they were bundled off to the concentration camps. They had no rights.

And then finally, the Nazis ‘liquidated’ the entire Jewish population there. Those fit for hard labour were taken to work as slaves. Those who were not were executed on the spot.

This was portrayed in Schindler’s List. As I watched six grown Jewish men lined up in a row, then four of them shot and killed by a single bullet fired by a Nazi soldier, I wondered:

Why couldn’t all 15,000 Jews rise up and overthrow the handful of Nazi soldiers?

The answer, of course, is because the Nazis had guns. Automatic rifles. And the Jews had none.

Now imagine if the Jews had been avid gun nuts. If every one of the 15,000 had even a revolver, that would be intimidating odds for a few hundred Nazi soldiers.

Or let’s be more realistic, and apply modern American gun ownership rates to the Kraków Jews. 39% of American households own at least one gun. That translates to 5850 angry Jews with ranged weapons in their hands.

The Nazis would think twice if that were the case. Especially in hindsight of the ability of well-armed Jews to massively kick butt.

“If a few hundred Jewish fighters in the Warsaw Ghetto could hold off the Wehrmacht for almost a month with only a handful of weapons, six million Jews armed with rifles could not so easily have been herded into cattle cars.” – Judge Kozinski

And via Allergic to Bull:

This article addresses German firearms laws and Nazi policies and practices to disarm German citizens, particularly political opponents and Jews. It begins with an account of post-World War I chaos, which led to the enactment in 1928 by the liberal Weimar republic of Germany’s first comprehensive gun control law. Next, the Nazi seizure of power in 1933 was consolidated by massive searches and seizures of firearms from political opponents, who were invariably described as “communists.” After five years of repression and eradication of dissidents, Hitler signed a new gun control law in 1938, which benefitted Nazi party members and entities, but denied firearm ownership to enemies of the state. Later that year, in Kristallnacht (the Night of the Broken Glass), in one fell swoop, the Nazi regime disarmed Germany’s Jews. Without any ability to defend themselves, the Jewish population could easily be sent to concentration camps for the Final Solution. After World War II began, Nazi authorities continued to register and mistrust civilian firearm owners, and German resistence to the Nazi regime was unsuccessful.

And thus it is with Americans who cling to their guns and the Second Amendment.

They don’t cling to their guns because they’re bitter, Mr. Snob-bama. They cling to them because history has taught them not to entrust their freedom, their protection and their lives to Socialist Big Brother Control Freaks like you.

Why the Holy Spirit is Considered God (and So is Jesus)

June 20, 08

If you got to Anwering Christianity on the Holy Spirit, you’ll read a whole list of ignorant and unlearned attempt at exegesis of Biblical scripture… As well as rude accusations that the Trinity is ‘Satan’s biggest lie’.

A short excerpt should show you the kind of unreasonable reasoning the writer uses:

“Teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit
lead me on level ground. (From the NIV Bible, Psalm 143:10)”

So far, these verses are talking about the Spirit from GOD Almighty.
The first verse above, Psalm 104:30, perfectly agrees with the Noble
Verses above about GOD Almighty Blowing His Spirit into our mothers’
wombs when we’re fetus.

So does this now mean that the Holy Spirit, in the Bible, is part of GOD Almighty?

Absolutely not! The Bible is filled with figurative speech. I’ve
written a detailed article proving this using many examples. The Holy Spirit mentioned above is a creation from GOD Almighty. It’s purpose is to create our spirits as mentioned in Psalm 104:30.

The polemicist conveniently uses the straw man example of verses which mention a spirit, but do not directly reference the Holy Spirit:

1 Samuel 19:9 “But an evil spirit from the LORD came upon Saul as he was sitting in his house with his spear in his hand. While David was playing the harp,…” ANOTHER EVIL SPIRIT FROM GOD?!

This is an intentional equivalating of any spirit whatsoever to the Holy Spirit.

Whereas, the major difference between all the various ‘spirits’ that the writer quotes, and the Holy Spirit, is that the Holy Spirit is treated as God by the early Christians themselves:

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit – Matthew 28:19

But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; he is guilty of an eternal sin. - Mark 3:29

The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. - Luke 1:35 (the Holy Spirit overshadows Mary, and she becomes pregnant with… Jesus, the Son of God! Therefore the Holy Spirit channels God’s power.)

While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” - Acts 13:2 (Paul and Barnabas then proceed to spread God’s word, meaning that the Holy Spirit’s work = God’s work)

They disagreed among themselves and began to leave after Paul had made this final statement: “The Holy Spirit spoke the truth to your forefathers when he said through Isaiah the prophet:-  Acts 28:25 (Wasn’t it God who spoke to the prophets? Holy Spirit = God)

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. - 2 Corinthian 13:14 (again, all three together)

For this same reason, Jesus is also considered God.

On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. - Matthew 2:11

A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” - Matthew 8:2 (‘knelt’ is actually the same word translated ‘worship’; see NKJV version)

Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.” - Matthew 14:33

Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. - Matthew 28:9

When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. - Matthew 28:17

Then they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy. - Luke 24:52

Then the man said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him - John 9:38

Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”  – John 20:28

And Jesus did not rebuke or correct them when they worshiped Him.

Now, as pointed out by some commentors, the Greek word rendered ‘worship’ is also used for mere ‘respect’ given to non-divine figures. There is a point to that.

However, note how various people fall down prostrated at Jesus’ feet as they worship him. This is the Jewish position of God-worship, as can be seen in several Old Testament instance of God appearing on earth:

The LORD appeared to Abraham near the great trees of Mamre while he was sitting at the entrance to his tent in the heat of the day. Abraham looked up and saw three men standing nearby. When he saw them, he hurried from the entrance of his tent to meet them and bowed low to the ground.Genesis 18:1-2

Then the LORD opened Balaam’s eyes, and he saw the angel of the LORD standing in the road with his sword drawn. So he bowed low and fell facedown.Numbers 22:31

“Neither,” he replied, “but as commander of the army of the LORD I have now come.” Then Joshua fell facedown to the ground in reverence, and asked him, “What message does my Lord have for his servant?” The commander of the LORD’s army replied, “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so.Joshua 5:14-15 (Compare with Exodus 3:5)

As the flame blazed up from the altar toward heaven, the angel of the LORD ascended in the flame. Seeing this, Manoah and his wife fell with their faces to the ground.Judges 13:20

Compare this to even Peter and splendourous, but non-divine angels:

As Peter entered the house, Cornelius met him and fell at his feet in reverence. But Peter made him get up. “Stand up,” he said, “I am only a man myself.”Acts 10:25-26

At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, ”Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” - Revelation 19:10

And humans who presume too highly of themselves:

All the royal officials at the king’s gate knelt down and paid honor to Haman, for the king had commanded this concerning him. But Mordecai would not kneel down or pay him honor. Then the royal officials at the king’s gate asked Mordecai, “Why do you disobey the king’s command?” Day after day they spoke to him but he refused to comply. Therefore they told Haman about it to see whether Mordecai’s behavior would be tolerated, for he had told them he was a Jew.Esther 3:2-4

Which is all based on God’s own command:

You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them…Exodus 20:4-5

So it’s pretty clear, bowing down (all the way until you touch the ground; Abraham did bow to other humans) is reserved only for worshiping God Himself. See this story for example.

Therefore, Jesus considers Himself to be God. And remember that Jesus Himself declared:

‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. - Mark 12:29

…Meaning that although The Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are all God, they are also all One.

See how the concept of the Trinity is present even in the Old Testament, The Christian Trinity in the Old Testament – God is I, Us and He.

Some real-world examples of three=one are at my post, The Trinity: Examples in Real Life.

Caliph Uthman Destroyed the Qurans – Bet You This Commentor Has No Valid Response

June 20, 08

A certain commentor, tong sam pah, who is apparently a convert to Islam, was busy insinuating that the Bible was changed.

To which I responded, that the Judeo-Christian scriptures cannot possibly have been changed due to there being 6 billion printed Bibles, tens of thousands of ancient manuscripts, the Dead Sea Scrolls from 300 B.C. being 99.95% the same as today’s Bible, etc.

And he also insinuated that Christians have tried to change the Muslim scriptures before but failed, and warned us not to try again.

To which I pointed out that we don’t need to do any such thing, because his own Caliph Uthman already did so!

International Burn a Koran Day?

Readers might therefore be interested to learn that the first recorded burning of the Qur’an was a conflagration of many Qur’ans in fires ordered by the third “rightly guided Caliph,” Uthman ibn Affan (644-656 A.D. ). According to Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 61, Number 510, as narrated by Anas bin Malik

  • Caliph Uthman destroyed all variants of the Quran (www.parapundit.com/archives/001519.html) – yes there were many - and banned non-Arabic translations in order to keep it pure, according to his own version of it.

Haha! So I asked him,

Was Caliph Uthman a prophet? (No, according to your own beleifs, Mohammed was the last.)

Was he infallible, sinless and perfect? (No, according to your beliefs, only a prophet is sinless.)

Was his judgement unquestionable? (No, according to your beliefs, only prophets led by Allah have perfect judgement.)

If not, how can you know he did not destroy the true Quran and keep a false Quran – the same Quran you read today?

Ask yourself carefully, and determine if you can know whether your Quran really is unchanged from what Allah gave Mohammed… Or if you have been reading false scriptures ever since the time of Caliph Uthman.

I thus challenge him and all who have an opinion to refute my claims which are backed by history and the narrative of the Hadith:

Caliph Uthman, a fallible and non-Allah led normal human, destroyed all the copies of the Quran he did not like.
