That’s ridiculous, Pan troglodytes are not Homo sapiens.
Fetuses are of course people, as are zygotes, as are haploids. Your mind has been warped by the media bias. You are self-censoring. trillions of human lives, in the form of haploids die every single day, yet you ignore this fact.
You care only about the second trimester fetus. Anyone can care about that, it’s easy to do, but if you want real integrity, if you really stand for the sanctity of human life, you would grow a spine and make the destruction of human haploid cells a criminal offense.

Actually, the above assumption is the ridiculous one.
When sperm are left in a human womb, after a few days they die.
Even when sperm are left in the human testicles that produced them, after a certain period they are broken down and reabsorbed.
When unfertilized ova are left in a human womb, after a period of time they are no longer viable.
Clearly, haploid cells are not sustainable ‘life’ if left to natural progression.
Whereas if a fertilized ovum (diploid cell) is left in a human womb, over time it will NOT die but rather grow into a full human being if left to progress naturally.
Ergo, the blockquoted argument is clearly flawed.

The sad thing is, a fertilized egg should be considered fully a person.
Meanwhile, the woman carring the said egg should NOT be considered a person. Her needs, her wishes, her well-being do not matter at all, according to right-wing wingnuts. She should simply STFU and bear as many babies as possible.
These attacks on women’s reproductive rights must stop. Women hae control over their bodies. They DO decide what happens to their pregnancy. And if they don’t want to become a mother, it’s their own choice. 90% of abortions occur during the 1st trimester. So early in the pregnancy, NO ONE has the moral authority to make decisions for a woman. NO one.

Like I said above: They have control, so WHY CAN’T THEY USE THAT DAMN CONTRACEPTION if they don’t want all the issues involved with abortion? It’s not like rubbers aren’t easilt available, in fact it’s libs who get condoms handed out free in elementary schools.

To add to what Scott said earlier, this claim is ridiculous on a biological level. Gametic cells – that is, sperm and egg cells – are haploid cells. They contain 23 chromosomes each, half of YOUR DNA. Therefore, since it is YOUR DNA you can do whatever you want with it (having a menstrual cycle if you’re female or bluntly, jacking off if you’re a dude). But when an egg and sperm come together, the DNA of both haploid cells combine to form a diploid cell that now has 46 chromosomes, the same number as you will find in any living adult’s DNA; and what’s more, it is a COMPLETELY NEW and INDEPENDENT set of DNA – no longer YOUR DNA. This also happens to disprove the pro-choice argument “My body, my choice”. If it’s not your DNA, it isn’t your body.
Of course, I’m only a high school student in AP Biology, but the above requires only a basic understanding of the subject.

My personal belief is gods as real as santa claus. i won’t disrespect your opinions bc it does no good, why can’t u just let others live there life as they would. and i encourage u to hold tight to your belief and live YOUR life as u woul. telling ppl to kill themselves is not the way to vbed

I understand your position, and as a realist I have to concur that cases of incest or rape must be given special consideration.
However, citing these special cases distracts from the reality that over 100,000 babies are aborted every month in the USA alone… Over 125,000 every day worldwide! How many of these are aborting pregnancies caused by rape? (Answer: Less than 1%)
Also, there is a difference between God’s specific will (i.e. what He wants, which is always for our very best) and God’s permissive will (i.e. allowing things to happen even if they are bad). But God did promise that in the end, anything that happens – whether good or bad – is for the final good, even if we can’t see it or imagine how it possibly could be so.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. – Romans 8:28
