Thank God She’s Still Alive

Brutally dramatic:

From NST via Malaysia Today, 10 May 2008:

Woman left for dead after robbery

LEFT FOR DEAD: A woman was stabbed at least four times in the back by robbers in a senseless attack yesterday morning. It is believed that the 33-year-old victim, a clerk from Taman Kencana, Cheras was attacked while she was walking to work.

(NEW STRAITS TIMES) – A woman was stabbed at least four times in the back and left for dead by robbers in a senseless attack yesterday morning.

[NAME WITHELD] was found unconscious in Jalan Maktab, near the police college in Cheras, by policemen on patrol duty.

It is believed that the 33-year-old victim, a clerk from Taman Kencana, Cheras was attacked while she was walking to work.

The victim’s handbag, containing her identification documents, was taken in the robbery.

Police have still not been able to interview Lee, who is said to be still in a state of shock.

She was warded at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Hospital where her condition was reported to be stable.

[NAME WITHELD] was found unconscious about 9.40am.

Policemen and several passers-by gave her first aid before sending her to the hospital.

—————————

Shouldn’t they hide the victim’s name and face? I did. Original un-censored currently at the Malaysia Today link.

What can I say but that I wish swift and righteously outraged justice upon the monster who did this. They had no reason to try and kill her. By this act, they have shown that there is no reason to let them off the death penalty.

Niamah, isn’t it Cheras the place that RMP (Malay – PDRM) use water canon and shoot tear gas towards the protest residents?

    Hopeless RMP.

Only poor people walk to work and/or take public transports ; big shots are driven to work, right to the doorstep. Only firearms are much more potentially capable of threatening big shots like politicians, not knives, hence only serious thoughts went mainly to dealing with crime committed with firearms while the bleeding heart courts often deal out ridiculously light sentences for many crimes committed with knives.

    dear all,

like it or not, with prices of basic goods like food and fuel soaring, we will need to prepare ourselves for the worst to happen. more and more cases like this will come in waves in a couple of months. take care..

HELLO! It is NOT the police’s fault that this is happening. There are dozens of other crimes happening in Malaysia and why the heck are we blaming other people? These people who are weirdos, psychos, crazy lunatics going around committing crimes and we are blaming the police for not doing their job? Come on, there are crimes everywhere even in the US or UK. We should be ashamed that we are living with such psychotic and senseless people in this so-called peacful malaysia. It is not anyone’s fault that there are people like this around. Why not we blame these criminals paraents or something? How about that?

(sorry i’m going emotional reading that baseless comment by moo_t)
