Barack Uh-Bama

From Obama Says “Uhh” 144 Times in Eleven Minutes during Press Conference:

Hot Air.com posted a link to a CNN video of Obama making a statement and answering questions. A sharp Hot Air.com commenter posted the following about the video:

I watched the whole 11:09. I don’t remember a thing he said. All I heard was uh, uh, uh, uh, and uh.

He talks for 4 minutes. I counted 55 uhs.
Then he takes questions.

First answer: 10 uhs
Second answer: 27 uhs
Third answer: 16 uhs
Fourth answer: 7 uhs
Final answer: 29 uhs

144 uhs in 11 minutes. Articulate, Uh-bama!

Follow the link and you will see it is absolutely painful to listen to. The truth is, Obama is a total lightweight that is an empty suit. He does great in the stadium pep rally speech setting, but get him away from that where he must think on his feet, and the Obamamessiah just disappears.

If John McCain said “uhh” 144 times in 11 minutes, the press corps would be saying he has Alzheimer’s disease. But with Obama, nary a word about it.

———————-

144 Uh’s in 11 minutes? That’s an uh-mazing rate of one Uh every 4.6 seconds!

A shorter video example is at The Obamessiah Sans Teleprompter, where Uh-bama apparently lost his widdle toy train of thought. Repeatedly.

Obama and Iraqi Foreign Minister Have Different Memories of their Conversation:

At a press availability in Michigan, I asked Obama if Zebari had expressed any concern to him that his plans to withdrawal U.S. troops as president would undo any security advances.

“No, he did not express that,” Obama said.

But today comes this report that Zebari told the Washington Post “that he had some frank talk for the candidate: ‘The foreign minister said ‘my message’ to Mr. Obama ‘was very clear…Really, we are making progress. I hope any actions you will take will not endanger this progress.’

Once again the Senator show his naiveté in foreign relations.

You beat to it. I thought of Uh-Bama this morning. I’m glad I’m not alone in the halls of genius.

Don’t feel bad, Emerson. The meme had been going around long before I picked it up from Moonbattery.com.
