A Query to Sarah Palin’s Detractors

To: Nutroots, liberals and increasingly desperate Obamaphiles

Subject: Re: The endless, yet to date entirely trivial accusations against Sarah Palin

Message Body: So, when are you guys finally going to find that conclusive proof that Sarah Palin was brought up an Inuit animist, recited the ancient Eskimo legends when she was a kid in school, had her house funded by an igloo slum lord, served on an education snow-board with a known terrorist, attended a church for 20 years where the reverend was renowned for saying “God d*mn the Arctic Circle!”, received donations from Hasidic Jew Secessionist League of Israel, approved millions in earmarks from Big Ice Cubes, and hides her racist Snow White Liberation Theology beliefs?

Not that the Vast Reich Wing Conspiracy would ever let such juicy tidbits leak out to the public of course… Nor would those facts in any way disqualify her candidacy.

And especially nor would they have any valid comparisons or parallels with a certain other candidate vying for the White House.

Dude, and what do you have to say to this point of view from the other side of the table?

Just because “she’s a (and probably just *outwardly* holy) Christian” doesn’t convince me for one moment that she’s fit to potentially lead a country as the USA.

Yeah, I guess killing a few wolves here and there is OK just as long as she’s anti-gay and anti-choice, coz’ those are the important things that matter, and shows that she’s a GOOD person whom I can entrust the future of the world to. (like it or not, the security of the world is inextricably dependent on the USA’s leader)

If she was Malaysian, I wouldn’t want her to be the PM of this country.

If she was secular, we would condemn her as cruel killer of wildlife, homophobic bigot and just another “example of a mother of a daughter with apparently poor family values” (not that I would label a mother as such, but even if I don’t, a lot of holy people would be just so quick to point the finger to identify the mother of such a daughter as one, won’t they?)

But due to a certain “membership” she belongs to, we don’t look at her that way, IT’S ALL GOOD.

I find your articles just amusing enough for me to visit again and actually post a comment. That’s honest. Thanks.

Sarah Palin the Fundamentalist Pitbull Wolf Killer

Defibrillator usage increased last week after John McCain announced Sarah Palin as his vice-presidential running mate and only a heartbeat from control of the nation’s nuclear arsenal. But, shortly after most Republicans were shocked back to life they circled the wagons to declare she was the perfect choice. Apparently, the cure also included a dose of psychotropic drugs as well.

The pundits and commentators rallied beside Palin, even lying about how great her ghost-written acceptance speech was, apparently in the mistaken belief that they are being fair and balanced. Since Palin is the topic of everyone’s greatest love or deepest enmity, I won’t be writing about her life and most of her positions.

I won’t write about her lack of experience—or her outrageous statements that she has more experience than Barack Obama, and her delusion that she deserves any of Hillary Clinton’s 18 million cracks in the glass ceiling.

Although I would like to say something about her vicious attacks on community organizers, persons who sacrifice so much to help those with so little, I won’t. That’s for others to talk about.

The fact she’s running on a ticket headed by a man who opposes lobbyist influence, yet had her inauguration as governor sponsored by an oil company—well, I won’t even bring that up. And, of course, I won’t say anything about her excessive use of pork barrel funds that McCain also opposes. And, I see no reason to point out that McCain’s first two choices of Joe Lieberman and Tom Ridge were somehow vetoed by the Republican leadership.

I’ll let others write about how Sarah Palin and George W. Bush both believe they are fiscal conservatives, but both are more “tax-and-spend” than the wildest liberal. For Bush, it was beginning office with a surplus of more than $236 billion and running up a $427 billion debt in less than five years. For Palin, it was a balanced budget at the beginning of her six years as mayor of a town of 5,000, and leaving it with a debt of about $20 million.

Although there is no evidence she has had any interest in foreign policy, she did manage to tell us she’s sure that the war in Iraq is “God’s will,” and that Americans soldiers were sent to Iraq on a “task that is from God.” Nope. I won’t write about that, either.
There’s really no need to comment upon the two ethics investigations that have been launched against her for abuse of her office or reasons why seven witnesses suddenly have decided not to testify.

There’s no reason for me to discuss her belief that Alaska schools should teach creationism, and that she’s has doubts about the theory of evolution.

The fact that she believes library books should be banned if they have passages that disagree with her own beliefs, and that she tried to fire the city librarian who disagreed with her beliefs, won’t even be discussed.

And, certainly, I won’t discuss her personal family life. Not her beauty queen background or her family values agenda that opposes single motherhood and supports only abstinence education instead of a comprehensive sexual education program. Her unmarried 17-year-old high school drop-out pregnant daughter can discuss that.

I certainly won’t write about her belief that she is certainly not a proponent of the Green movement, and apparently believes it must be magic fairy dust that created Global Warming, since she doesn’t believe that people caused what’s melting the ice in Alaska and putting polar bears in danger of extinction. Not that she cares—she supports disrupting the balance of nature by drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR), which McCain opposes, and opposes a federal rule, enacted by the Bush Administration, which makes polar bears a threatened species.

And that’s what I am going to write about. Sarah Palin and her boom-boom mentality. She loves to kill animals. As a youth, she went out daily so she could enjoy mooseburgers. I don’t know how much burgers a slaughtered moose can provide, but I suspect that if she, her family, and all of their friends ate all of the moose she killed, the cholesterol and obesity levels in Wasilla, Alaska, would be significantly higher than the national average.

Killing moose is apparently one of the reasons that as governor she encourages wolf hunts. Alaska is the only state that allows hunters to use helicopters not only to kill wolves but also to chase them down and then execute them while they lay exhausted from the chase. No hunter would ever consider this to be fair chase hunting.

Palin has even offered a $150 bounty for every wolf killed in Alaska. Kill every one of the 9,000 or so wolves in Alaska, and the taxpayers will reap a harvest of about $1.3 million. And, don’t worry about wolves being extinct in Alaska. There’s still another 5,000 or so in the Lower 48, most of which are protected by the Endangered Species Act.

Wolves are highly intelligent social animals, who are loyal to their mates, care for their children, and protective of all in their pack. Humans should emulate them rather than murder them.

But just this past May, Sarah Palin had no problem with her own Department of Fish and Game killing 14 orphaned wolf pups in their own dens, in violation of her state’s own law.

Killing wolves doesn’t give hunters the excuse that they kill for meat or clothing. Wolves provide absolutely no meat value, and wolf coats are just not the fashion item for this season. Except when deliberately provoked, wolves don’t attack humans. Even then, wolves try to avoid human contact.

So, the killing of wolves serves only two purposes. The first is because Mighty Joe Hunter can get a trophy. Sarah Palin is a close ally of the Safari Club, which believes in killing animals and mounting their heads on cedar-paneled walls. The other reason is because wolves are her competitor—they hunt caribou and moose, the kind that Sarah Palin wants for her own dinner table.

No, I won’t write about Sarah Palin’s political philosophies. Her disregard for life is enough.

  2. Scott Thong Says:

Uh, okay… Let’s totally remove religion from the equation and compare Palin and Obama.

2 terms as mayor of Wasilla and 2 years as governer of Alaska, versus community organizing (did a lousy job too, see pics) and 143 days of senate experience.

Wants to drill for oil, versus wants to raise the capital gains tax – even after it was explained to him that history shows lowering the tax increases revenue.

Wants to kill the the terrorists – thus keeping them occupied instead of continuing their Bali spree in our corner of the world – versus wants to appease them.

Shoots wolves and moose (as you helpfully copy-pasted above), versus murders unborn HUMAN children whom he considers a ‘punishment’.

Hey, on that last point… Sarah Palin is ‘pro-choice’ when it comes to baby wolves. She’s just helping the wolf mothers abort their unwanted, punishment babies.

As a Malaysian, any reason why you think Obama will benefit us? Here’s Seven Reasons Why An Obama Presidency is Bad For Malaysia and the World.

  3. wits0 Says:

Scott: “As a Malaysian, any reason why you think Obama will benefit us? ”

Malaysian educational system and it’s established bias created this faddist streak.

However there are astute individuals like us, despite this reason/effect, don’t buy that sort of conditioned rot.

  4. Scott Thong Says:

And here’s more debunks for you:

I won’t write about her lack of experience—or her outrageous statements that she has more experience than Barack Obama, and her delusion that she deserves any of Hillary Clinton’s 18 million cracks in the glass ceiling.

2 terms as mayor of Wasilla and 2 years as governer of Alaska, versus community organizing (did a lousy job too, see pics) and 143 days of senate experience.

Although there is no evidence she has had any interest in foreign policy, she did manage to tell us she’s sure that the war in Iraq is “God’s will,” and that Americans soldiers were sent to Iraq on a “task that is from God.”

Looks like someone only heard the cut-short, out of context soundbite:

    What Palin actually said:

“Pray for our military men and women who are striving to do what is right. Also, for this country, that our leaders, our national leaders, are sending out on a task that is from God,” she exhorted the congregants. “That’s what we have to make sure that we’re praying for, that there is a plan and that that plan is God’s plan.”

Here’s what the AP and the 18-second Youtube turn it into:

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin told ministry students at her former church that the United States sent troops to fight in the Iraq war on a “task that is from God.”…

“Our national leaders are sending them out on a task that is from God,” she said. “That’s what we have to make sure that we’re praying for, that there is a plan and that plan is God’s plan.”

    —————————

There’s really no need to comment upon the two ethics investigations that have been launched against her for abuse of her office or reasons why seven witnesses suddenly have decided not to testify.

Yeah. no need to discuss the fact that the investigating team is comprised of Obama supporters either.

    —————————

I certainly won’t write about her belief that she is certainly not a proponent of the Green movement, and apparently believes it must be magic fairy dust that created Global Warming, since she doesn’t believe that people caused what’s melting the ice in Alaska and putting polar bears in danger of extinction. Not that she cares—she supports disrupting the balance of nature by drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR), which McCain opposes, and opposes a federal rule, enacted by the Bush Administration, which makes polar bears a threatened species.

So human-produced CO2 also caused the 400,000 years of pre-human climate change?

And CO2 causes global warming, even though the data shows that temperatures rise first, followed 800 years later by CO2 levels?

And the Alaskan ice is melting by being at the same levels in 2007 and 2008?

And polar bears are going extinct by increasing in number by 20,000 over the past 60 years?

And drilling in the ANWR will threaten the poor widdle wildlife, even though the oil exploration area is so small it would be akin to a postage stamp compared to the rest of the ANWR, and is utterly barren anyway?

No, I won’t write about Sarah Palin’s political philosophies. Her disregard for life is enough.

Shoots wolves and moose, versus murders unborn HUMAN children whom someone considers a ‘punishment’.

    ————————

Completely ignorant. Go tell your beloved Professor Walter how uninformed he is.

Btw, the way he sneakily goes “I certainly won’t write/discuss about” is like Hamidah saying “Do you agree to disagree that when we see an Indian and a snake, we should kill the Indian first?”

Very good choice of citation, dude.

  5. O'Maolchathaigh Says:

There is not a single hunter in this country who could support the actions of someone who poses with an animal they’ve shot, while that animal (a moose) lies wounded, in pain at their feet. That single picture exposes who Sarah Palin really is. Such same hunters may vote for her out of fear of Obama, but that doesn’t make her respectable.

  6. Scott Thong Says:

As opposed to this sort of leaving non-sentient life forms, wounded and in pain, to slowly die?

    Closet of Hope

With many more examples and evidence at here.

    To paraphrase you:

Sadly, there are many abortionists in this country who could support the actions of someone who gives speeches about ‘Hope’ and ‘Change’ while a baby (a human) lies wounded, in pain and slowly dying on a cold table or in a janitorial closet.

That single picture exposes who Barack Obama really is.

Selfish liberals may vote for him out of fear of actually taking responsibility for their reckless actions (e.g. having unprotected sex), but that doesn’t make him respectable.

  7. prega Says:

“There is not a single hunter in this country who could support the actions of someone who poses with an animal they’ve shot,…”

Then you are a very stupid liberal minded and a hedonist by nature. You will steal money from plumbers and say you are spreading wealth. In Communist Russia vampires like you lived in dachas at the expense of others. Lazy uncouth good for nothing you will never do any productive work but make others work in the salt mines while you sit on your “intellectual” arse.

  8. wits0 Says:

A wild moose in your garden very likely needs to be shot because mooses are often known to be aggressive when they make incursions into suburban areas. How is it that though I live at the other end of the world, I’m aware of this fact while some people in North America don’t seem to? That has to be sheer ignorance or a bad put-on.

  9. Espanol Says:

utter garbage, a case of the pot calling the kettle black. Around the world where there is conservation and relocation effort, animals that stay into urban zones are tranquilised then either put in a zoo or away from civilisation farther deeper into the wilderness. wits0, you live in malaysia yet you don’t know a thing about Malaysian tiger conservation programme and you go on lambasting others. Egregarious ignoramous. For crying out loud, read up on national geographic or discovery channel before mouthing out what you don’t know. it

running people down whom you think are less superior than you with your condescence but when meeting someone who has the potential for a strong, rebuttal, cow away immediately with no answers, seeking shelter in a dystopia to rebuild bruised ego.

“someone who has the potential for a strong rebuttal” – Espanol must have been thinking of spanish fly up his own ass hee hee gives a whole new meaning to fly fishing ROTFL

  12. Smartie Says:

THANK YOU, SCOTT. VERY WELL-ARTICULATED AND 100% TRUE.

  13. wits0 Says:

Espanol is saying that every animal is under the conservation list? Mooses suffer from threat of extinction? Were that so, it would have been treated as a capital crime committed by Sarah Palin by now. In fact there has been recent visual reports by CNN, e.g. mentioning the invasion of mooses from out of their normal habitats into human ones in North America. A hypocrite is one who would not kill a cobra or a black mamba that enters into his home. From where Espanol comes from, rattlesnakes must be quite civilized and recognizes him as the perfect Buddhist, single and living in solitude without anyone else’s safety to think about.

  14. hutchrun Says:

Rattlesnakes must feel pretty comfortable with mexican (spanish speaking) mules and donkeys then🙂, or cobras with spanish hermits in himalayan caves or black mambas with african shamans.
Btw in Africa they`ve once again started elephant harvesting on account of popn. explosion.

  15. hutchrun Says:

    Bad News Bear
“Police at Western Carolina University and wildlife officials were investigating the discovery early Monday of a dead bear cub draped with a pair of Barack Obama campaign signs,” the Associated Press reports from Cullowhee, N.C.:

Leila Tvedt, associate vice chancellor for public relations, said Monday night that maintenance workers found the 75-pound bear cub shot to death in front of the school’s administration building at the entrance to campus. The Obama yard signs were stapled together and placed over the bear’s head, Tvedt said.

The bear had been shot in the head, Tvedt said.

“Western Carolina University deplores the inappropriate behavior that has led to this troubling incident,” Tvedt said. “We cannot speculate on the motives of the people involved nor who those people might be. Campus police are cooperating fully with authorities to investigate this matter.”
    _________________________________________________________________________
Well, we can speculate. It’s probably a response to Obama’s characterization, reported in August in the Chicago Sun-Times, of Cubs fans as “not serious.”

  16. Scott Thong Says:

    Speaking of ‘protected species’…

Guess which one is NOT protected (by Obama’s reckoning)?

  17. Espanol Says:

Wits0, oh so now you are insulting buddhist as well? So buddhism is now a selfish religion cum philosophy? Hypocrisy? I don’t even know if you understand the word hypocrisy.

I don’t understand this. One minute, people are lambasting and lampooning mainstream media for being factually inaccurate, next minute they start quoting and believing sources from CNN, Washington Post and New York times. Quoting the parts they like to hear.

There is such thing as wild life relocation programme. It is not confined to endangered species only. I don’t understand how a relocation programme can be a selfish act. If there is evidence that there is population explotion of a particular species of animal like koala bears, endangering the ecosystem of the environment, then culling is necessary. show me evidence that mooses are over-populated. another factor is insufficient predatory animals (over hunting on the parts of human) at the top of the food chain to counter population explotion down the pyramid. not to mention the encroachment of civilisation into the wilderness.

As an act of desperation and self-defense, it is okay. otherwise a moose that happened to wander into civilisation should be tranquilised, unless of course you want to eat a moose burger.

hutchrun, you can use your gobbledegook elsewhere. a meaningless jargon.

  18. hutchrun Says:

In a sense I truly am vindicated by the pretentious turkey`s admission of only being able to recognise gobbledygook.

The turkey needs to be dressed up. It supports another “turkey” who claims “There is not a single hunter in this country who could support the actions of someone who poses with an animal they’ve shot,” as ““someone who has the potential for a strong rebuttal”. Just putting words together to make a sentence do not in any way point to any inherent lurking intelligence in this pea sized turkey`s brain.

Now we have another attempt at unsustainable justification with the stupid comment “show me evidence that mooses are over-populated”. You stupid turkey, a place can be over populated by moose (plural for moose is moose, not mooses you idiot), the only thing moose can be over populated is probably ticks (passed on by turkeys p`haps eh what! haha).

Then to further regale us wit the low grade comdey act, he wants evidence of this moose overpopulation of the estimated 830,000 canadian moose. Need we any further proof of idiocy! The issuing of permits and open hunting seasons obviously keep the moose in check. This twit of a turkey would be better put to be sent to stop the Eskimau eating seals and whales.

Me, I`m already a member of PETA – Prefer Eating Tasty Animals HAHAHA

  19. wits0 Says:

The turkey likes to make us believe that it is common/mandatory for gun owners in Alaska to also own a tranquilizer gun as well. If he’s a member of the ‘original faddish’PETA, he obviously does not know what “peta” stands for in Buddhist Cosmology – petas are Hungry Shades/Ghosts from the peta loka(realm) and in a state of deprivation like animals themselves. Irony! LOL!

Perhaps he’s a burro who has no idea that tortilla is inferior to chapati – the later has not been known to be deprived of niacin or tryptophan(an amino acid) and once made some people sick consequently.

  20. swoon Says:

Okay, so Bubba, after finishing 8 years as president, gets $10 million and the NYT has to go take a cold shower.

Sarah Palin was the Vice-Presidential pick on a losing ticket in The Year of The Messiah. She was derided and mocked by the left as a five brain-celled Caribou Barbie. And she gets $7 Million?

The Obots and Olbermann can hate her but the free market is betting that Sarah Palin is the Next Big Thing.

    http://patriotroom.com/sarahs-book-deal-a-cool-7-million/

  21. swoon Says:

If it bleeds, it leads [Mark Steyn]

I didn’t think I could like Sarah Palin more than I do, but the nancy boys at MSNBC bleating all over the screen about the Great Turkey Carnage is hilarious. This is a great caption:

TURKEYS DIE AS GOVERNOR PALIN TAKES QUESTIONS FROM MEDIA

Or was it: MEDIA DIE AS GOVERNOR PALIN TAKES QUESTIONS FROM TURKEYS.

After she’s sworn in in 2013, I hope President Palin arranges for a ritual turkey slaughter to be going on behind her at every press conference, if only during David Shuster’s questions.

  22. kesava Says:

I’m always amused by people who decry the slaughter of animals for food as some barbaric practice, as if people haven’t been eating meat for the entire history of homo sapiens. Where, exactly, do people like the editors of the New York Times think the turkey for their Thanksgiving originates — a Star Trek replicator? Instead of laughing off what was a poor decision by Palin’s staff for an interview location, we instead hear shrieks of executions from the Gray Lady:

” We’ve differed with Sarah Palin a great deal on substance. We don’t agree with her hardline approach to the Iraq War, her harsh anti-government rhetoric, and her style of negative campaigning.

But we also worry a bit about, how should we put it, the persona she has brought with her to national politics. We did not care at all for the swipe she took against community organizers at the Republican National Convention.

And then there’s this. You don’t have to be a huge animal lover to question why Governor Palin chose to be interviewed — while issuing a traditional seasonal pardon of a turkey — while turkeys were being executed in the background.”

If this is what twisted the NYT’s knickers, then make sure no one ever takes them to an industrial-scale slaughterhouse. This is basically free-range handling. We’re not seeing vast machinery beheading a string of turkeys in some sort of dehumanized assembly-line process.

One man butchers a turkey for food (two, actually), and the New York Times gets the vapors. Have any of them ever eaten meat? At all? The editors of the Times should declare right now whether they plan to eat real turkey on Thanksgiving, and/or use turkey in sandwiches from now on. If so, how would they expect to have that available to them without the kind of process seen in this clip? Did they think that turkeys somehow committed suicide and left wills donating their bodies to family dining tables around the world?

“Executed”. Someone send the Times a vat of smelling salts.

  23. kesava Says:

In the crowded eatery, one reporter asked him about the troubled auto industry, just days after Detroit executives went to Washington in hopes of $25 billion in federal aid.

“I got the corned beef,” replied a smiling Obama.
