Homosexuals didn’t agree:

Seven people were arrested Thursday during ongoing protests in Los Angeles and San Francisco against California’s passage of a ban on gay marriage. … Demonstrators marched Wednesday night through West Hollywood, Hollywood and Santa Monica. Several stopped at busy intersections and blocked traffic, prompting police intervention.

An additional group of about 500 protesters gathered near CNN’s Los Angeles bureau, where they were seen banging on the doors and walls.

The demonstrations caused the Los Angeles Police Department to declare a tactical alert — one requiring all available officers, including some from other precincts, to respond.

Television cameras showed one protester jumping on top of a police car at the intersection of Hollywood and Highland avenues.

Decisions by voters in Florida, Arizona and California to join residents of 27 other states with constitutional protections for traditional marriage have prompted threats of violence against Christians and their churches.

“Burn their f—ing churches to the ground, and then tax the charred timbers,” wrote “World O Jeff” on the JoeMyGod blogspot today within hours of California officials declaring Proposition 8 had been approved by a margin of 52 percent to 48 percent. Confirmation on voter approval of amendments in Florida and Arizona came earlier.

And Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger approves of the rioting!:

Today, Schwarzenegger urged backers of gay marriage to follow the lesson he learned as a bodybuilder trying to lift weights that were too heavy for him at first. “I learned that you should never ever give up. . . . They should never give up. They should be on it and on it until they get it done.”

Wow, I can’t say that male on male sex is gross without being called a hatemonger, and yet these guys are calling African Americans “n*ggers” for supporting traditional marriage.

But all these violent outbursts are to no avail.

    How is bigotry holiness?

    Leviticus 19:18 says “Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.” (the golden rule)

    14th amendment says:
    ll persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

    Do not devalue yourself by discriminating against another.

    Exactly. The due process of law was followed with Proposition 8, and a similar percentage of voters supported it (52.2 %to 47.8%) as Obama’s popular vote victory (52.7% to 46%).

    So why the swearing, rioting and vandalism against individuals and churches who voted according to their consciences and the due process of law?
