Why you don’t get down from your car to discuss an accident in JB (or anywhere else for that matter), whether you are in the wrong or not. It could always be a trick to rob you, as has happened to personal friends before.

Factory hand stabbed to death after fender bender
By FARIK ZOLKEPLI
JOHOR BARU: A factory worker was stabbed to death following a minor car collision.
Cham Mee Chua, 25, and a friend were on their way to Taman Century when another car rammed into his Proton Iswara from the back at a traffic light along Jalan Tebrau here at about 2am yesterday.
The other vehicle, believed to be a blue Ford, sped away.
Cham gave chase and caught up with the other vehicle at Jalan Maju some 5km away.
He confronted the driver and demanded compensation for the damages to his car’s bumper.
However, the other driver pulled out a knife and stabbed Cham twice in the chest and once on his back.
He also stabbed Cham’s friend before escaping.
Members of the public rushed Cham and his friend to the Sultanah Aminah Hospital but Cham died upon arrival.
Johor Baru (South) OCPD Asst Comm Zainuddin Yaakob said that Cham’s body had been sent for a post-mortem while his friend was being treated at the hospital.
“We believe the suspect is in his late 20s,” he said, adding that police had not recovered the knife used in the incident.
ACP Zainuddin urged anyone with information to contact the police hotline at 07-221 2999 or the nearest police station.
