“Absurd” Nazri slammed for refusing to act against Ibrahim Ali
Written by Wong Choon Mei, Malaysia ChronicleMinister in Prime Minister’s Department Nazri Aziz, known for his off-tangent remarks, may have outdone himself with the latest explanation why the BN could not act against Malay rights rabble-rouser, Ibrahim Ali, for making a speech that has been widely condemned as highly seditious.
His words recorded for posterity, Nazri said the BN government could not do so because “we cannot be selective in our prosecution”.
Nazri, who is also the de-facto Law minister, was immediately shot down for his “preposterous” comments.

Nazri had explained that remarks such as Ibrahim’s were not uncommon on Twitter sites and Malaysian blogs. Should the authorities go after Ibrahim, they would also have to crack down on all the others, he said.
“It’s difficult to take action against Ibrahim now with the existence of Twitter and blogs,” Malaysiakini reported the minister as saying.
What Nazri Aziz really means, is that if Perkasa fools like Ibrahim ‘Jihad War’ Ali must be rounded up, then to be fair plenty UMNOpocrites will have to be rounded up too!

This would have taken some time to compile. Let`s not leave Najib (the PM wannabee) out:
Dato’ Seri Najib kicked the ball first to insist to insist none should openly debate if Muslims could slander the followers of other religions, and promised to investigate the site, “Malaysia Today”.
The Federal Territory mufti, Dato’ Mohamed Yusof Hussain, invites Raja Petra over to show how he deviates from Islam and he could help him return to the fold. But instead of inviting him, he used the mid-morning Malay tabloid, Harian Metro, in the New Straits Times stable to reply. But his intent was incendiary, not resolution. But Raja Petra has now come with a serious of questions on his website that he wants Dr Yusof to answer in Harian Metro before he would meet him.
But what Raja Petra complains of is true. Non-Malays living in the vicinity of mosques in Kuala Lumpur hear this call to arms against the non-Muslims through high-pitches megaphones often enough to be dismissed as untrue. I suspect Dr Yusof is annoyed a Muslim has spilled the beans; if a non-Muslim had done so, he could be ignored.

Is this going to be a self-fulfilling prophecy? It was Sir Frank Swettenham who once wrote: “The ***** is an arrogant creature. Childish. He would not hesitate to injure someone even if it means that he will suffer even more injuries in the process. We have to protect the ***** from himself, from his own stupidity.”
Well the British are gone. Since independence, it was the leaders of the ****** & ******* communities who assumed the “protector” role of the British & have been protecting the ***** from himself. This is evident in their willingness to go along with the deviations & distortions in the implementation of the New Economic Policy & wholesale plunder of the public treasury under the guise of development.
Now, it seems no longer. Such Indian & Chinese leaders now lack credibility within their own communities — all the more so given Perkasa — & hence the demise of MIC, MCA/Gerakan.
