  1. M. Simon Says:

    Scott,

    Thanks for the post at CV.

    We are all descended from sons-a-bitches. Let us hope we can improve some on their behavior.

  2. Simon Thong Says:

    These demotivators are a better reflection of reality, life as it is..they strike a chord in my soul, and I say, “How true, how succinct!” Yet, I laugh, too, for they find resonance in my “funny bone”. Thanks, Scott!

  3. Ervin Sholpnick Says:

    Those are good. Take a look at some of ours.

  4. Sheridan Says:

    Sheridan…

    Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. To keep our faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate is strength undefeatable….

  5. Simon Thong Says:

    Life is mundane, oh-so-ordinary, monotonous..daring adventure is rare, if it comes at all. Most people couldn’t cope with adventure if it happened to them. The little things count a lot: a familiar face, a smile, the bus that comes on time, a reasonable boss, amiable colleagues, regular paychecks, a home to return to, the squeal of joy from your child….We, somehow, squeeze happiness out of ordinary, routine life. I would settle for contentment any time.

    Those are the very reasons why these demotivators are so relevant.

    Life is neither a daring adventure nor nothing. Life is everything in-between.

  6. wits0 Says:

    “I used to complain that i had no shoes , till i met a man who had no feet.”

    It’s all in the mind, the ego, i.e. But some people must have the mostest!

  7. hutchrun Says:

    But it`s so enlivening to go where no man hasn`t before. To dream the impossible dream.

  8. wits0 Says:

    I like the Christian Serenity Prayer:

    God grant me the serenity
    to accept the things I cannot change;
    courage to change the things I can;
    and wisdom to know the difference.

    Living one day at a time;
    Enjoying one moment at a time;
    Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
    Taking, as He did, this sinful world
    as it is, not as I would have it;
    Trusting that He will make all things right
    if I surrender to His Will;
    That I may be reasonably happy in this life
    and supremely happy with Him
    Forever in the next.
    Amen.

    No, Hutch, it’s never wrong to dream ; we are the stuffs that dreams are made off. But individually, we have to understand our own circumstantial limitation and not be swept away by stupidly wild sloganizing hypes that conventional human institutions(like those in Bolehland) are wont to heap out madly. Hence the validity and efficacy of what the Buddhists take to be the Middle Path. To find the right Balance is a never ending task.

  9. hutchrun Says:

    `stupidly wild sloganizing hypes`

    Ah yes, very true. Like that screwball arab Obama with his `Change`.
    The only change I can think of is the metallic stuff in pockets. That is truly taking the americans for a ride. And then there`s the new religion of `Hope` he is selling them. So much like the Kanamits cookbook. They`ll only find him out when they are devoured.

  10. Seeking Truth Says:

    Hey, you speakz heresees!! Don’t you knowz that teh Messiah is beyond criticimism?!? Pls to take back your wordz about teh LOLrd Obama Christ!!!11!11!!11!!

  11. wits0 Says:

    If that mulatto is da Messiah, All Gore must be John da Baptist. How Warmies and their Ethanol galore are now beginning to consume people in poorer countries while we sleep!

  12. Simon Thong Says:

    The SUCCESS poster: think of the poor worm who got crushed by those two guys when they landed with a CRUNCH! That’s us. I mean the flattened-into-earth worm, not one of those guys 🙂

  13. simon thong Says:

    I revisited your site, and this time, what leaps out at me is the poster on STUPIDITY. It reminds of the parents who keep telling their children that they only need to work harder and they will pass their exams next time. Never mind the fact that their children are in the wrong class (Science instead of Arts); or that their children excel in sports and nothing else; or the simple solution before them: our kid is 15, still in Grade 7, and fails every single subject in every test, so let’s take him out of school and find him an apprenticeship in a firm.

  14. hayley Says:

    oh f*ck off. all of these are only half true. life might be a shit hole but theres always a way to make it better. life is not a dead end, why not try and live a little bit?

  15. Scott Thong Says:

    Lololololol

    Actually, I find these funny and motivating.

  16. Dave Says:

    haha some nice ones there… check out our site for a few more if you want 🙂 I always find these funny

  17. Peter J. Crowley Says:

    Individuality and irresponsibility The American Mantra. Very good.
    enjoy pjc

  18. loneliness is in my blood Says:

    well… im a pretty lonely person so this just makes me even more depressed but this is simply the truth… life is always hard on me… while other kids are thinking about friends, games and life. i only think about how to make frends, games as it is easy to make friends there but they betray too and also death… while others are being loved im only loving one person that i have no courage to admit that i love her…

  19. Scott Thong Says:

    Do take my advice, loneliness…

    1) Be a MAN and tell her how you feel, whether in person or through a letter (no email or sms!). It is a MAN’s duty to bear any heartbreak, which is why traditionally men do the pursuing in romance. From my own experience, you might be turned down – and HARD – but it is better than forever not knowing the answer… Or worse, having her get married or disappear forever without you ever saying how you feel! (Now I’ve got to get used to not living next door to Alice).

    And if you DO ask, she might even say YES… Even if she says NO, NEVER, NO WAY at first, and then a few years later for some reason changes her mind to YES (like what happened to me)!

    2) If you ever think of suicide, know this: You can always commit suicide tomorrow. That is, if you just stay alive one more day, you can always change your mind and commit suicude next time…

    But once you commit suicide, you can NEVER take it back and will have ZERO alternatives! Therefore, it is the most logical choice to put off committing suicide.

    3) Jesus loves you even if the whole world doesn’t. He loved you enough to be whipped, stripped naked and laughed, and have nails hammered into his limbs for your sake. Ask me if you want to learn more.

  20. Hi Bri Says:

    Excellent site, I garnered so much empathy for my sorrowful office existence from it, I’ve managed to pick up my T-908A forms and carry forth. Your site hit me like a high resolution Dilbert cartoon and is even better then the Broadway hit “Cats”.

  21. emberal Says:

    I disagree, life is what you make it…the reason we are are here is to live life to the fullest, go new places, meet new people, try new things. Its all about your perception. Perception is perceiving and perceiving is believing.
