Obama’s Approval Rating Hits Negative 26!!!

Is there no end to how unpopular Hopey Changey can get???

Info from Rasmussen Reports Daily Presidential Tracking Poll which updates as new data arrives.

UPDATE 24 AUGUST 2011: New all time low of Negative 26!!!

UPDATE 22 AUGUST 2011: All time low of Negative 23!!!

UPDATE 12 APRIL 2011: A new record, only 19% Strongly Approve of him for an overall rating of negative 20.

UPDATE 11 AUGUST 2010: He’s finally broken his old record since December ’09 of Negative 21!

Is it the disastrous economy? The spiralling unemployment? The inept non-response to the Gulf spill? The insane attacks on Arizona? The constant golfing and holidaying in the midst of recession?

Oh wait, no… It must be just because Americans are racists. Yeah, that totally explains it.

Meanwhile, not only do Dems not want Obama ‘helping’ them for the upcoming elections, some are even bashing him to win support among voters!

Via AoSHQ:

Voters say that they will be put off a candidate if Obama endorses them!

Even the maligned Bush polls 6 points higher than Obama in Dem-held districts!

Obamacare is incredibly toxic to independent voters, and not one of the 279 Dems who voted for it are featuring their support for it in their ads!

By Michael Ramirez:

Via Gateway Pundit:

Even Obama supporters can see that his polling numbers are about as weak as his economic policies.

No wonder Democrats fear Obama appearing to ‘help’ them get votes!

UPDATE 18 JUNE 2010: After a lot of bouncing around in the high-teens, Obama manages to hit negative 20 approval rating once again. Must be his GREAT LEADERSHIP on that BP oil leak!

Can we hear it for negative 22?

Independents have him down to 38% approval, and 18 point drop in one year.

UPDATE 23 DECEMBER 2009: He’s down to -21 now! And again on 10 March 2010!

Via Gateway Pundit from Rasmussen Reports:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 25% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-six percent (46%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -21 That’s the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for this President.

As Gateway Pundit says: At the end of his second term President George W. Bush had a 43% disapproval rating.

And that’s when Bush was in the midst of a massive recession and two wars (Iraq not having been seen as decisively won yet with 750,000 Iraqi lives saved).

And Obama’s personal favourability is down 20 points since his inauguration:

Consider the latest New York Times/CBS News poll. Though 46 percent of Americans still approved of the job he was doing, only 39 percent had a favorable personal opinion of Obama. That’s an 11-point drop since July and a 20-point drop since inauguration. For a politician whose success was predicated on a personal brand, that’s a catastrophic fall.

For all those who voted for Obama… How’s that Hope and Change working out for ya?

UPDATE 14 DECEMBER 2009: He’s down to -19 now!

Via Moonbattery from Rasmussen Reports:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 23% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -19.

The approval index stands at an astounding -28 among the independents who were temporarily duped into electing him.

As Gateway Pundit says, Obama has dropped a stunning 49 points in less than one year.

UPDATE 25 NOVEMBER 2009: He’s down to -15 now!

Via Gateway Pundit, from Rasmussen Reports:

UPDATE 20 NOVEMBER 2009: Palin is now more popular than Obama, 47 to 46!!!

UPDATE 24 AUGUST 2009: He’s down to -14 now! From Rasmussen Reports viaMoonbattery and Gateway Pundit:

The radical leftist has seen his presidential index number drop an amazing 44 points since he took office!

From Gallup Poll:

In fact, the 9-point drop in the most recent quarter is the largest Gallup has ever measured for an elected president between the second and third quarters of his term, dating back to 1953.

UPDATE 28 SEPT 2009: People are angry with Obama’s ill-decided, radical policies!

From Rasmussen Reports:

Sixty-six percent (66%) of voters nationwide say they’re at least somewhat angry about the current policies of the federal government. Thirty-six percent (36%) are Very Angry.

Despite the high level of political anger last year that helped fuel President Obama’s election, 59% say the current level of political anger in the country is higher than it was when George W. Bush was president.

UPDATE 31 JULY 2009: He’s down to -12 now! From Rasmussen Reports viaGateway Pundit:

UPDATE 27 JULY 2009: He’s down to -11 now! From Rasmussen Reports via Gateway Pundit:

UPDATE 25 JULY 2009: He’s slid below the halfway mark! Only 49% approve while 51% disapprove of him now.

UPDATE 10 July 2009: He’s down to -8 now! From Rasmussen Reports via Moonbattery:

From Rasmussen Reports on the day:

UPDATE 9 July 2009: He’s down to -5 now! From Rasmussen Reports on the day via Atlas Shrugs on a tip from wits0:

Just 154 days into his presidency, Obama has managed to garner his first negative rating of -2:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 32% of the nation’s voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-four percent (34%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -2. That’s the President’s lowest rating to date and the first time the Presidential Approval Index has fallen below zero for Obama (see trends).

It’s a 32 point drop in less than 200 days. That’s much faster than the ‘hated’ George W. Bush!

It may be in part due to his recent, consistent limp-wristed refusals to condemn the Iranian government’s brutally violent atrocities against unarmed protesters, such as this shot dead unthreatening young woman:

Instead, leader of the free world Obama went out for ice-cream:

UPDATE: He and Biden go golfing too.

The reader might be warned that reading this San Francisco Chronicle Father’s Day piece serves as a most perfect emetic. In fact, it’s a wonder that writer Jennifer Weiss could type with all those stars in her eyes. Her Father’s Day adulation of Obama is so over-the-top that Obama suddenly becomes the “father of our country,” and is determined to have “super-dad status.”

The most offensive part of this piece is, of course, the aforementioned assigning to Obama of the role of “father of our country.” There is only one father of our country and that is George Washington, war hero and first president. No other president is the father of our country, nor can they be so even rhetorically. Yet, in its zeal to be an effusive Obamaton, here is the SFChron reassigning the role from the true father of our country to Obama…..

The Washington Post’s Dana Milbank is shocked, shocked to find “stagecraft” going on in the White House briefing room:

After the obligatory first question from the Associated Press, Obama treated the overflowing White House briefing room to a surprise. “I know Nico Pitney is here from the Huffington Post,” he announced.

Obama knew this because White House aides had called Pitney the day before to invite him, and they had escorted him into the room. They told him the president was likely to call on him, with the understanding that he would ask a question about Iran that had been submitted online by an Iranian. “I know that there may actually be questions from people in Iran who are communicating through the Internet,” Obama went on. “Do you have a question?”

Pitney recognized his prompt. “That’s right,” he said, standing in the aisle and wearing a temporary White House press pass. “I wanted to use this opportunity to ask you a question directly from an Iranian.”

Pitney asked his arranged question. Reporters looked at one another in amazement at the stagecraft they were witnessing. . . .

The use of planted questioners is a no-no at presidential news conferences, because it sends a message to the world–Iran included–that the American press isn’t as free as advertised.

But yesterday wasn’t so much a news conference as it was a taping of a new daytime drama, “The Obama Show.”

    A liberal mugged by reality?

Someone, whose “‘one-dimensional lenses” used to read Iran last spring have now been cracked by the “disastrous chain of results” his naivete could not foresee?

Someone whose equation of Iran with subtlety, sophistication, and malleability was “simplistic”?

Someone who tossed out Iran caricatures in his columns?

    A caricature himself?

Or just Roger Cohen, of the New York Times?

There is definitely some slippage in the house of Obama. When that leftist propaganda organ, the New York Slimes, opens it’s pages to criticism of the team Obama economic recovery program, there has to be a little less joy in Mudville.

President Obama regularly takes his eye off the ball relative to the economic mess we find all around us. He travels the world apologizing for American history. He makes a point of going to Cairo to reach out to the “Muslim world”, whatever that turns out to be. He does fund raisers in Hollywood and townhalls in St. Louis. He spends a quarter million tax dollars to fly to Chicago so that he can deliver a speech, and be booed by the crowd, in Chicago. He takes his wife out on a date night in New York rather than Washington. And so on.

All the while, our economy continues to sputter, stutter, stagger and sag.

Obama’s hard line on the settlements has effectively made Israeli-Palestinian negotiations dependent on a complete settlement freeze, something the Netanyahu government – because of its political makeup and Netanyahu’s desire for political longevity – is simply not going to do.

So here is the status report so far on the Obama administration’s settlement policy: The US has strongly called for a complete settlement freeze, Netanyahu has made clear that he will not comply and the Palestinians say that they will not begin negotiating until one is in place.

The bottom line: there will be no negotiations.

I especially like this article which I feel all people who are concern for freedom should read.

On other issues, I like to voice out the following:

I have noticed that the libs in America are constantly arguing about America’s friendship with Israel and their argument is firstly based on selfish thinking.

In my personal life, I have helped so many friends without thinking about what they gave me back in return.

We help people who share our values. We naturally know what good values we want to encourage and what behaviors especially that which are oppressive to freedom and religion that we want to discourage.

On matters of Religions and on so many other matters, it is obvious that inside Israel there is more freedom and rights than inside Iran or Saudi Arabia.

If the oppression of freedom is what the libs wish to see then naturally they will be against countries like Israel and supportive of those countries that oppress religions freedom.

The result of Obama’s action in mistreating a friend like Israel is the countries that oppress religious freedom who used to see America as the enemy will still continue to see America as their enemy. And in addition to that the countries (including people who are inside places like Iran or Myanmar who loves freedom), that used to see America as a friend will no longer trust America (at least not the leftist machinery inside America).

    I hope that

It is among those countries that practice the oppression of religions and freedom of beliefs that America have to be selective. Among these types of countries, America should weigh and see which countries can give something back in return and which cannot give anything back in return. And even then, America should work towards becoming self – dependent so that their dependency on what these countries can give back in return become less and less.

If America is a country that believes in the freedom of religion and the equality of rights among races, than those countries that practice anything close to these values should naturally be looked upon as friends.

    The mask slips
    Monday, 27th July 2009

I’ve been travelling and so have only just been catching up with the Obama race row over the altercation between Henry Louis Gates and the Cambridge, Mass. police. Strikes me this is no storm in a teacup. Look at the Fox News clip that Tim Montgomerie highlights here for some extremely sharp comments indeed, particularly by Charles Krauthammer. Even after Obama started rowing back, noted Juan Williams of NPR, he was still getting the facts wrong, claiming that Sgt Crowley had led Gates out of his house whereas this was ‘just not true’.

This affair is toxic because it touches many nerves: America’s neuralgic conscience over its historic racism, the monstrously unjust over-reaction to that racism, and the election of a President who supposedly embodied, in both his identity and his approach, a post-racial New Man and an absolution for past national sins. Now the mask has slipped, and even those with Obama stars in their eyes can’t hide their dismay.

As regular readers of this blog know, I have been banging on from the start of Obama’s rise to power about the astonishing discrepancy between how he was presented by the media on the issue of race and what he actually had said and done. His whole background from the earliest days onwards was steeped in anti-white grievance politics of the most bitter and corrosive kind. This was all ignored. His two-decade membership of an anti-white church was ignored, his early anti-white mentors such as Frank Marshall Davis were ignored, his participation on the Nation of Islam ‘Million Man march’ and his association with Nation of Islam cadres were ignored.

And as Krauthammer aptly observed – and as I wrote here – Obama’s major speech on race in March 2008 in which he finally ‘renounced’ his former pastor, the anti-white bigot Rev Jeremiah Wright, which was hailed as the greatest piece of oratory since the Gettysburg address and which supposedly transcended racial animosities to create the colour-blind Brotherhood of Man, was anything but. In this speech Obama actually said Wright should not be renounced, and that Wright’s racism was actually all the fault of white people. The fact that so many people failed to hear or read what Obama actually said and instead heard or read only what they wanted to hear was truly frightening.

Now, thanks to the histrionics of Henry Louis Gates, we can see how Obama’s dysfunctional attitude to race plays out in real time. Gates’s arrest was an honest and understandable mistake by the Cambridge police who were investigating what appeared to be a break-in. It clearly had nothing to do with Gates being black – not least because other officers backing up the arresting officer were non-white. Gates’s protests were preposterous, and vividly demonstrated the pathological resentment and injustice – not to mention the strutting arrogance and narcissism — of anti-racist ‘victim culture’.

For the President of the United States to get involved at all in such a local matter was off-limits. For him to do so without even bothering to discover the facts was disturbing. For him to damn the Cambridge police as ‘stupid’ whereas it was clearly Gates who was ‘stupid’(and worse), thereby demonstrating how the Presidential knee automatically jerks to the crudest of anti-white (and anti-police) tunes regardless of the facts, was deeply alarming.

    But not surprising.

He is the duly elected President of the United States so get used to it. Of course, our first amendment allows you to whine about him until the next Democrat sits in the office, just as we had the chance to hammer on GW for the War Crimes committed by the Cheney, er Bush Administration. So be content that you have someone to blame for the horrors of the USA and the World for the next seven years or more, considering how the other party’s are committing political suicide.

  18. royrogers Says:

Robert you make interesting comments at times. Other times you just make plain stoopid ones. Like “He is the duly elected President of the United States so get used to it.”
Why should anyone get used to it if their questions are not answered. OPf course what follows after that in your comment puts you back on track. Anyway, keep trucking.

There is a fallacy in the theory of evolution, often cautioned against, to imagine evolution as one long “march of progress” in which every mutation and selection works, teleologically, to produce the supreme form of being (that would be us). It’s a vanity science has no use of.

On the other hand, there is Obama. 100,000 years of human history have unfolded in just this precisely-right way to contrive in his person the Ultimate Man.

There is no agenda of Obama; rather, physics and history have an agenda leading us to Obama.

“Look upon my mighty works and donate.”……..“He is the duly elected President of the United States so get used to it.”

  21. OSS Says:

The real news here, though, is that Obama seems to be under the impression that he is the first “man of African descent” to be president. In fact, scientists generally agree that Homo sapiens originated in Africa, which in turn implies that every president from George Washington to George W. Bush was also of African descent.

Everyone already knew that Obama was an egomaniac. Now we learn he’s a creationist too.

  22. Scott Thong Says:

He is the duly elected President of the United States so get used to it. – Robert

I sense a dichotomy. One the one hand, you clearly regard followers of religion – in particular Christians – to be backward, illogical, unreasonable, boring etc.

But on the other hand, you seem to support Obama – a man who spent two decades in Jeremiah Wright’s church, who semi-regularly praises Islam (which has the most un-liberal doctrines of any religion, e.g. on feminism, homosexuality, secularism), and whose fans liken him to a ‘Messiah’ complete with religious imagery or even ‘a kind of god’.

How do you reconcile these two diametrically opposed attitudes?

considering how the other party’s are committing political suicide.

And how do you reconcile your assumption that Obama will win reelection and that the ‘other party’ is committing suicide with various the poll results I have quoted showing the exact opposite trend, some from this very page?

America isn’t creating nearly enough jobs to reduce persistently high unemployment.

For the third straight month, the private sector hired cautiously in July. And those meager gains in the job market were nearly wiped out by tens of thousands of cuts at all levels of government.

Making matters worse: Many of the new jobs that are being created do not pay well enough to significantly jump-start spending by shoppers and stimulate the broader economy.

The unemployment rate is stuck at 9.5 per cent for the second straight month, the Labor Department said on Friday. Analysts said it would probably climb back into double digits because the private sector is not creating jobs fast enough.

Private employers reported a net gain of 71,000 jobs for July – far below the 200,000 it takes for the unemployment rate just to hold steady and keep pace with the growing work force.

As Muslims in the United States and around the world begin their observance of Ramadan, the U.S. Department of the Treasury recognizes the importance of this period of intense devotion, reflection and charitable giving. Charitable giving and philanthropy are core American values, reflected in many faiths and traditions, and are of particular significance within the Muslim faith during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Treasury Department fully supports the ability of American Muslims – and Muslims worldwide – to fulfill their religious obligations through charitable giving and seeks to advance charitable giving at home and abroad, while protecting the charitable sector from the threat posed by those who seek to abuse this sacred obligation.
