My Words For People Playing the Gates Case as Racist

July 27, 09

The same as I responded to this Malaysian Insider article:

Wonderful job, sir. While Malaysia is in the midst of racial accusations orbiting the Teoh case, here you are playing right into Mr Gates’ attempt to frame the entire incident as a case of racism. (Well no duh, you’re his friend after all.)

Never mind the fact that if it had been an actual burglary by a black man and the police DIDN’T respond, Gates would have chewed them out for their lax attitude. Astute burglars would be on to a pretty good plan breaking into Gates’ home in the future, while wearing shoe polish – which cop wants to stick his neck out for Gates and be accused of racism round two?

Never mind that according to the police report filed by several cops, Gates was acting belligerent – everything short of “Don’t taze me, bro!” – or are the police lying the same way the CIA is claimed to have lied to Pelosi on torture?

Never mind that members of the police force of all races are backing the cop who carried out his duties coolly and responsibly – a cop who once gave mouth-to-mouth resuscitation to Reggie Lee. (It is a well known fact that racist men love to kiss other men of the race they hate.)

Would Gates have been suspected of being a burglar by neighbors if he were white? Try asking it this way: Would anyone get away with antagonizing the police no matter what color skin they were?

But really, thanks for giving us all a totally objective, all angles covered, well-rounded story here.

Mawi’s JB House Robbed, Two Parang Wielding Robbers Shot

July 27, 09

I won’t stoop so low as to question if the cops would have arrived so fast it it weren’t a big star’s home.

From The Star 26 July 2009:

Armed men rob Mawi’s house
By FARIK ZOLKEPLI

JOHOR BARU: The family home of singer Asmawi Ani, or more popularly known as Mawi, was broken into by four Indonesian men and two of them were shot dead by the police in an ensuing shootout.

The robbery took place at about 4am yesterday when the masked men, armed with parang, broke into the house at Felda Taib Andak in Kulai Jaya through the back door.

At the time, Mawi’s mother Ramlah Sarlan, elder sister Rashidah Ani, 38, her husband Sahrom Saji, 40, and six others were sleeping.

Mawi was in Sabah and family members said he had been notified of the robbery.

When the victims woke up and saw the robbers, they shouted, causing the robbers to flee.

The robbers escaped with two mobile phones and jewellery worth RM7,000.

The victims then alerted the police who managed to track down two of the robbers at Ladang Fraser, some 5km away from the house at about 12pm.

The suspects, who were in a stolen Proton Waja, tried to escape but police managed to corner them.

When ordered to surrender, the suspects tried to attack the policemen with their parang which forced the police to fire several shots, killing both suspects.

Johor deputy police chief Senior Asst Comm I Datuk Jalaluddin Ab Rahman said two other suspects were still at large.

“We recovered some of the victims’ belongings as well as two steel cutters, two parang and gloves,” he told a press conference yesterday.

SAC Jalaluddin added that the suspects were from Indonesia’s Batam and Tanjung Pinang, and they frequently entered Malaysia to carry out crimes.

They had valid passports.

Police are tracking down the remaining suspects and believe the four separated after the robbery to avoid capture.

Rashidah said she was shocked to see four masked men dressed like ninjas in her room.

“One of the men tried to choke me to stop me from screaming but I managed to do so anyway,” she said.

Rashidah, who is eight months’ pregnant, added that the same man also used the blunt end of the parang to hit her head three times.

The suspect then snatched her bracelet and necklace before fleeing from the room.

Anyone with information can contact the police hotline at 07-2212 999 or the nearest police station.

Oh wow. Lots of purses and cameras for the local criminals to snatch and rob.

Maybe they’ll be good distractions to keep the rest of us safe.

Lousy Suicide Attempt in KL – Reminiscent of Scene in The Dark Knight

July 10, 09

From The Star 10 July 2009:

My apologies if I’m being insensitive, but… Not very well acquainted physics?

Recall this comparable scene from The Dark Knight (Batman), starting from 1 minute 30 seconds:

A multi-storey fall only breaks your bones.

So unless she fell headfirst with her head tilted at a precise angle that would cause her neck to snap upon impact with the ground, she would most likely merely get a bad sprain or fractures, which would hurt like heck but would not end her tormented existence of suffering. (In fact, it would just add to the torment and suffering, physically.)

Methinks she was merely insincere about her ‘suicide’ attempt, and just wanted some attention.

Republican Led Economy VS Democrat Led Economy

And more on unemployment:

Liberals, being immune to reality as they are, think that the economy is actually better than before.

Meanwhile in Not-Bizarro-World, the much-touted Obama/Dems 1.5 trillion dollar Stimulus Package has created an amazing 63 jobs.

DCP of Police Says Police Solve More Crimes, So Why Do We Think Crime Rate is Bad?

July 9, 09

Relevant excerpt from The Star 9 July 2009:

On another matter, DCP Mohd Mokhtar said the Iskandar Regional Development Authority had assigned a media specialist to help police counter the negative perception people have of the state.

“Our statistics show that the police have been increasingly successful in solving crime, but somehow people seem to have this perception that the crime rate here is bad,” he said.

“Nevertheless, the police are committed to tackling crime in the state, as well as implementing the 46 initiatives under Iskandar Malaysia’s Safety and Security blueprints.”

It’s not how much crime is solved that the populace worries about, sir. It is the sheer amount and brutality of crimes that make them feel so unsafe.

Say a woman is rammed off the highway and gang raped, or a girl is ambushed and gang raped in a public park. Do you think it comforts them much that the rapists are caught after the act?

Say a man is stabbed and dies in a public place early in the morning, just to facilitate a simple robbery. Do you really think he would be (still around to) appreciative that the police solve so-and-so % more theft cases these days?

The fundamental question is: Why do criminals think they can act so brazenly on the streets of Johor, if the police really are such a strong and effective presence as claimed?

To be fair, Johor Bahru seems safer than before the machine-guns initivative, but the criminals are still there – lurking, waiting. If the police start getting lax, I can predict that we will see Johor Bahru return to being the City of Criminals.

Great Work Obama! More and More Americans Becoming Conservatives

July 7, 09

UPDATE June 2010: The gap widens!

Gallup polls confirm the actual truth! Twice as many lean Conservative as Liberal, and the gap is growing all the time thanks to liberal Obama’s arrogance and blundering!

From Gallup poll April 2008, the Democrats have lost 12 points of advantage since 2009:

Poll Conservatives close gap

With an 18 oint drop among the young!

From Gallup Poll October 2009 report, 40% of America identifies as Conservative versus just 20% Liberal:

Poll more Conservatives

While 58% think the next President will be Republican:

Fifty-eight percent (58%) of likely voters say it is at least somewhat likely the next president of the United States will be a Republican, according to the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey.

The number has been trending in this direction since Democrat Barack Obama took office in January and is up 14 points since then.

And thanks in a large part to the soft-on-terrorists, pro-abortion, anti-Israel extremist in office, more are turning pro-torture, pro-life and pro-Israel.

Once Again UMNO Hypocrisy – Hishammuddin Don’t Like Boo’s Apartheid Remarks

July 6, 09

Hypocrisy Meter from theblogprof.

Hishammuddin is bringing up this old case again.

From The Star 6 July 2009:

Hisham: Probe Boo over ‘seditious remarks’

KOTA BARU: Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein has directed the police to investigate Johor DAP head Dr Boo Cheng Hau for apparently uttering remarks which could be seen as seditious.

The Home Minister said he was informed that Dr Boo had repeated claims that Malaysia practised apartheid similar to the once-infamous South African governance system.

Dr Boo, who is the Skudai assemblyman, was reported to have made the remark at the Johor state legislative assembly last year and had allegedly repeated it at a Chinese Society Association function in Batu Pahat last Tuesday.

“Stop it. I will not compromise if someone under the freedom of expression or democracy makes a totally untrue remark which can threaten security and peace,” said Hishammuddin.

“There is no compromise for a naughty remark which is designed to sow hatred,” he added after attending a briefing on security preparations for today’s nomination of the Manek Urai by-election.

Hishammuddin said although Dr Boo’s remark was first made under the confines of the state assembly where assemblymen enjoyed immunity, there was a limit to what could be uttered at the sitting.

“We will study the scope of the immunity accorded.

“We cannot compromise if it is seditious,” he added.

Hishammuddin said he had been studying the manner in which some quarters in the Opposition practised politics.

“They politicised issues at all costs,” he said.

“They also withhold of any responsibility and do not care if the country descends into chaos,” Hishamuddin added.

Is this feller talking about the Opposition, or himself and his own party???
